If you’re not a fan of the Liquid Glass aesthetic on your MacBook, it looks like Apple is looking to make things better.
On his latest newsletter, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman said Apple has acknowledged certain pain points with Liquid Glass on MacOS. These include poor text readability and inconsistent looks between apps.
To address these concerns, Apple is reportedly working on a slight redesign of the aesthetic. Gurman said this redesign will align Liquid Glass with what Apple’s design team wanted it to look like from the jump.
These tweaks should be available in the next MacOS version, which will likely release later this year.
Gurman also said the rumored OLED touchscreen MacBook should also help with the design concerns. That is because Apple reportedly created Liquid Glass with OLED displays in mind. All current MacBooks feature LCD panels, leading to the aforementioned design concerns.
