Nintendo stores aren’t easy to come by, seeing how there are only five in the world. That number has now bumped up to six. Sorta.
Over this weekend, Nintendo launched a pop-up store in London. Dubbed the Nintendo Experience Zone, you could mistake it for a smaller version of Nintendo’s New York City flagship. It features everything from games and plushies to consoles, figures, and apparel.
There is also merch exclusive to this location, though you’ll have to go to find out what it is. Speaking of which, it’s located in the Argos Store on Tottenham Court Road.
On LinkedIn, Argos gaming buyer Peter Wray said this was months in the making.
“After seven months of planning, our Argos Nintendo Tottenham Court Road partnership is live, bringing together hundreds of lines from across our gaming and license partners,” wrote Wray.
“What an amazing project to have landed on. Big thanks to our amazing partners – some of whom even hand delivered stock to us!”
Nintendo did not say how long the pop-up store will remain open. According to VGC, it will run for “the next few months.”
