If you’re hoping to play Hades 2 on anything other than a Nintendo Switch or PC, your time is almost here.
During today’s Xbox Partner Preview event, it was announced that the game will release on Xbox and PlayStation on April 14. For those on Xbox, the game will also be on Game Pass and will be a Play Anywhere title.
Released in September 2025, Hades 2 is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed Hades. The game follows Zagreus’ sister Melinoë as she fights back to the underworld. Chronos’ arrival threw things for a loop, and you get to see how many things have gone wrong since.
Just like the original, Hades 2 released to critical and commercial success. Across Switch, Switch 2, and PC, the game currently stands at an average of around 96 on Metacritic.
It also garnered numerous nominations and awards, including Game of the Year at 2025’s iteration of The Game Awards.
