If you’re looking for the fanciest Uber ride in town, your time has come in the form of Uber Elite.
Announced earlier today, Uber Elite is a new invite-only luxury ride option for Uber users. Booking a ride through Uber Elite nets you a professional chauffeur and a luxury model vehicle less than three years old.
All Elite rides include chargers, bottled water, mints, and hand wipes. You can also request champagne or sparkling water. There’s even a “Meet and Greet” feature that has the chauffeur wait for you at baggage claim.
Uber Elite is available through the Uber app, Uber Reserve, and Uber for Business. You can book rides one hour in advance or up to 90 days ahead.
Uber Elite will initially be available in Los Angeles and San Francisco. New York and other cities in the U.S. and internationally will follow at some point. Frequent Uber Black users and Uber Business clients will get first dibs, followed by everyone else.
