With 2025 soon coming to a close, Samsung is looking ahead toward 2026 and projecting a very positive outlook for its Galaxy S26 smartphones.
According to its annual outlook, Samsung expects to sell 36 million units. Those would include the rumored trio of the S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra, along with potential Edge and FE releases.
As for its entire smartphone portfolio, Samsung expects to sell 240 million units globally. If accurate, that would amount to around $90 billion in sales alone.
This would be a considerable jump in sales for Samsung.
The S25 lineup outperformed expectations and helped Samsung perform very well this year. With that said, the lineup sold 22 million units by the end of June, with an additional 2 million possibly sold by year’s end.
That means Samsung hopes to sell an additional 12 million of its upcoming trio of flagship smartphones in 2026.
Samsung is expected to debut the S26 lineup in San Francisco in late February. Sales will reportedly open up in early March.
