Earlier today, Summer Game Fest updated its website to confirm the gaming-focused event will return this year in June.
Things will kick off with the Live Kickoff show on Friday, June 5 at 5:00pm Eastern. This is usually where we will see a plethora of new trailers and announcements. It will be streamed on YouTube, X, Twitch, and even Steam.
Right after the Live Kickoff show is the Day of the Devs livestream, which is primarily focused on indie titles and should bring additional trailers and reveals.
Last up is a “thought leadership event” scheduled for June 8. Focused on developers and publishers, Game Business Live “brings together top industry voices on one stage for insightful discussions on key changes, challenges and opportunities shaping the global video game industry.”
Other events will likely weave their way through Summer Game Fest as in years past. We could see showcases from Sony and Microsoft, though neither company has yet to confirm anything.
