Out of nowhere, Nintendo dropped another app on Android and iOS.
As the name implies, the Nintendo Store app lets you peruse the company’s library of available digital titles. Purchases do not happen in-app, however—you get taken to a website page, where you can make the actual purchase.
The app also lets you catch up on the latest news from Nintendo and see My Nintendo rewards.
The coolest part has to be your play activity. You can see how much time you have spent playing games you own, going all the way back to the 3DS. Play time seems to be shown in 15-minute increments, so it’s not as specific as it could be. That said, you can see how much time you spent playing a game on a given day.
The Nintendo Store app is available now as a free download.
