A little over a year after Netflix announced price increases for its subscriptions, the streaming service is back with more.
As spotted by Android Authority, the cheapest ad-supported tier goes from $7.99 per month to $8.99. The standard and premium plans are also going up in price, now costing $19.99 (up from $17.99) and $26.99 (up from $24.99) per month, respectively.
Netflix has not yet commented on these newer price increases.
Since the last price increase, Netflix has kept itself busy. The streaming service launched video podcasts, released new TV games, and refreshed the interface for its TV and mobile apps.
Netflix was also dangerously close to acquiring the Warner Bros. studio and its streaming service, HBO Max, for $83 billion. However, Netflix declined to match Paramount’s higher bid.
