If same-day delivery isn’t enough for you, Amazon today announced two faster delivery options.
Available in many cities and towns in the U.S., the new options now include 1-hour and 3-hour deliveries. According to Amazon, there are 90,000 products eligible for the new delivery options, including pantry items, over-the-counter medication, electronics, and toys.
These new delivery options won’t be free. For Prime subscribers, one-hour deliveries cost $10, while three-hour deliveries cost $5. Those without a Prime subscription can expect to pay twice as much for each option.
This isn’t Amazon’s first time dealing with ultra-fast delivery. Back in 2015, the company launched its Prime Now service that included one-hour deliveries. The service eventually sunsetted in 2021.
