If you were wondering whether that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake is still happening, we got an extremely short update on the project.
In a recent interview with IGN, Saber Interactive chief creative officer Tim Willits confirmed the game remains in the works. “Yes, it is still in development,” said Willits. “That’s all I can say.”
As small of an update as this is, it will nonetheless be a bit of a relief for fans.
Announced in September 2021, the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is set to be a timed exclusive for the PlayStation 5. However, very little about the project has been made public.
The most recent significant update was in August 2022, when it was announced Saber Interactive’s European studios would be taking over lead development of the game from Aspyr.
